GAF Timberline HDZ shingles roof installation & gutter replacement
Whether it’s an old leak that was just discovered or a brand new one following a storm, leaking roofs need to be attended to in a timely manner. The Clarendon Hills homeowner noticed the leak in their roof and wanted the job done fast, so they contacted VIS Exterior, a go-to contractor in the region.
VIS Exterior only works with the best roofing material manufacturers, such as GAF. For this project, we chose GAF Timberline shingles in a charcoal color. This line of shingles includes the LayerLock technology, as well as the Stainguard Plus algae protection limited warranty. Furthermore, these shingles have the wind warranty, which has no maximum wind limitation.
While GAF shingles look great, we also know that according to a survey of nearly 400 real estate agents and certified appraisers, upgrading a roof with GAF Timberline roofing shingles can increase the value of the home by an average of 10 percent.
Rounding out the project, we installed aluminum gutters with 3 in. by 4 in. downspouts. As usual, we left the property free of any debris from the project, leaving the customer satisfied and the home looking fantastic.
