LP SmartSide siding & GAF Timberline HDZ roof shingles installation
After 40 years in existence, this house was ready for a complete overhaul. Rather than parcel out the jobs over a period of time, the homeowner wanted to tackle it all at once under one contractor. VIS Exterior, having extensive experience in taking on complex jobs that require multitasking, embarked on this one and completed it on time and on budget.
For the siding, we used LP Smartside, a quality manufacturing that is trusted by contractors throughout the country. We utilized 4 ft. x 8 ft. sheets of board and batten siding in a timberland suede color, per the homeowner’s request. The vertical siding placement stands apart from the traditional horizontal siding, offering a unique aesthetic.
For the roof, we brought in the ever-trusted GAF Timberline HDZ shingles in the barkwood color. We also replaced the aluminum soffit/fascia in a clay color and removed the old skylights and replaced them with new ones. Service door installation was also part of this extensive job.
Each task was approached with an eye for protection and to the approval of the homeowner. As usual, we picked up every bit of scrap related to the project and left the worksite clean and clutter free.
