Roof inspection and replacement after hail & wind damage

Homeowner brought in VIS Exterior for an inspection of his roof following a hail storm. Our crew met with him and did a thorough inspection, which resulted in an estimate of $20,000 to $30,000, which included replacing the roof. He requested that we deal with his insurance company, which we did.

We met the insurance adjuster and walked over the damage. Following a lengthy discussion, the adjuster agreed that the entire roof and skylights would be covered. This news was met fondly by the homeowner, who was surprised by our knowledge in dealing with the insurance adjuster.

The VIS team removed all the damaged roofing and installed O.C Architectural shingles, a new skylight and roof vents. Ice and water shields were installed 6 ft. up from the gutters to prevent ice dams.

The customer was pleased by our fast service, expertise in dealing with the insurance company and our ability to get the job done on budget.
