XHailstorms are no joke in the Chicago area. Some homes get hit harder than others, as was the case with this 2,300-square-foot home in Lombard. The siding and roofing were damaged beyond repair, so when VIS Exterior was called in by the homeowner to do that replacement, we knew exactly what materials would provide the best results.
The homeowner preferred a pewter gray color of roofing, so we chose the GAF Timberline HDZ asphalt shingles, which are a trusted and reputable product from a great company. Furthermore, we’re certified to install GAF shingles, which means all warranties are honored. We also chose Royal Estate 044 traditional vinyl siding in a soft maple color, which added to the aesthetic the homeowner preferred.
Finally, we worked directly with the homeowner’s insurance company to ensure that everything that could be covered under their policy was covered. This includes walking the adjuster through our thorough inspection to make sure nothing is missed.
