LP SmartSide ExpertFinish siding installation

This St. Charles home required new siding, soffits and gutters, but the roof also needed some attention. With our expert team of siding professionals who are also adept at offering numerous roofing services, we were able to help this homeowner with all their needs, leading to a positive review where the homeowner awarded VIS Exterior with a “10 out of 10 stars.”

For this project, we chose LP SmartSide ExpertFinish white 5/4x4x4-in. wood grain corner posts on all applicable areas. We chose ExpertFinish 3/8x8x16-in. wood grain lap siding in the Desert Stone color. We also installed a white ExpertFinish soffit and 1×8-in. fascia board. For the gutters, we used seamless, 5-in. material and 3×4-in. Downspouts, also in white.

For the roof, we installed four bathroom vents, one power vent and two mushroom vents. Installing new vents not only ensures moisture resistance around the areas where old vents are prone to leaking, but also improves air circulation within the home.
