LP SmartSide lap siding & Atlas Pinnacle architectural roofing shingles installation
This Hinsdale homeowner took on a dual roofing and siding replacement project utilizing VIS Exterior due to our extensive knowledge and ability to offer professional advice. We listened to the homeowner regarding their ideas for the look of the home, then advised them to choose Pinnacle architectural shingles, which offer an unmatched aesthetic, but are also extremely durable. With Scotchgard protection from 3M, the colors are less impacted by harsh UV rays.
For the siding we used LP SmartSide in a custom color. LP SmartSide offers a natural wood look, but without the maintenance that real wood requires. It’s lightweight but durable, making it less prone to breakage than fiber cement siding. We worked with the homeowner to dial in a custom color, too. Finally, LP Smartside trim and siding is recognized as the most sustainable siding, which is important to anyone concerned about the environment. We also installed new gutters with 3 in. by 4 in. downspouts.
