Royal vinyl Insulated & Shake and Shingles siding installation
When homeowners want the look of real wood but have a budget for something less expensive, Royal Haven insulated lap and shake siding are often the answer. This client’s home was already cladded with wood siding, which was in decent enough condition that the VIS Exterior crew was able to install the D6 lap siding and Royal Shake siding on top of it.
First, we wrapped the frieze board along the soffit in aluminum and installed wrap over the existing wood, which offers an extra layer of insulation that helps with energy costs. Our crew used the D6 siding for all the walls and put the Royal Shake material around the front window. The color of the siding was called “Storm,” which is the company’s nature-inspired palette that includes earth tones.
Finally, our crew installed a sliding door for the client. The homeowner was pleased that the final bill matched our estimate and that there were no hidden fees.
