VIS Exteriors receives a 10 out of 10 rating for service, performance and value! On August 22, 2017, VIS Exteriors completed the removal of old siding from my house and garage and replaced it with house wrap, insulation and vinyl siding on both structures. I am not easily impressed and rarely write reviews, but Val and his employees impressed me. The quality of their worked is superior! I live in a rural area and all too often have to settle for contractors willing to work on my residence, what a breath of fresh air VIS and Val are. Not only did he agree to work in a rural area, but his team’s work quality and ethic is better that what I had seen when I lived in Chicago and the suburbs. The cost was very reasonable. I decided to go with VIS Exteriors because of their great ratings on Angie’s List and the Better Business Bureau. Choosing VIS Exteriors was the best decision I’ve made for any of my home improvement projects.

They took the time to offer a competitive price and installed our windows and siding that has made our dated house look up with the times! They Wirked on all the details to make sure all was installed correctly and kept the job site clean!

VIS Exteriors did a great job. They were patient with me on quoting and getting the job ready to go. The price was right and the job was handled well. Anytime an issue came up it was resolved quickly.

Val and his team at VIS Exteriors did an exceptional job replacing the siding of our home and garage and installing new shutters, new gutters and new front porch columns. The work was done efficiently and the VIS team thoroughly cleaned up as the work was completed. Val was onsite every day to ensure the project was going as planned and to our specifications. Val even personally installed the shutters. He and his team made this installation easy, affordable and beautiful! Also, when quoting the job, Val did not push for added projects and worked within our budget. He found us ways to make the greatest impact (like adding columns in the front) without exceeding our budget. Thank you VIS Exteriors!

Val and his team worked magic on my home. Changed roof, windows, sliding doors and siding. The exterior now looks practically brand new and I couldn’t be happier with the outcome. Highly recommend! We are very pleased with the work done by VIS Exteriors. The bid was honest, competitive, and given without a long sales pitch. Val and his team were prompt and worked long hours to complete the work on the house, including rebuilding the four front columns. Also, Val was very easy to work with, and went out of his way to make sure the house looked its best. The siding is high quality and the house looks brand new! I absolutely recommend VIS Exteriors.

We used Val and the VIS team to repair some storm damage to our roof and siding. We decided to re-side the whole house instead of repair the 2 sides with damage and Val was very helpful with helping us decide which siding options would be best for our home. The team was very efficient and professional and Val himself did some of the major structure repairs that were needed. We are very happy with our new siding and even our neighbors love the color. We will definitely call Val for future roofing and window replacement needs.

Can’t say enough wonderful things about our experience! Val and his crew did such an amazing job and we couldn’t be happier. From the moment Val came out to provide a quote to the moment the job was done, everything was straightforward, efficient and professional. The crew always arrived on time and everything was always cleaned up at the end of the day; you barely knew they had been there. The quality of the work as well as the materials for our siding and shingles were excellent. Our house now has a beautiful new and updated look!

VIS did great work and a very competitive price on two separate projects. New roof and siding on a rehab project followed by the same on a detached garage a couple years later. Highly recommended!

Val and his team just finished the siding on our home. I am very impressed with their craftsmanship and cleanliness. Each day the crew cleaned up the mess making this large of project very manageable for our family. Val was fair with his pricing and the quality of the product is great. VIS Exteriors completely removed our old, cracked cedar siding at our Northbrook home and installed Hardie siding and four new windows along with soffit and gutter replacement. The workmen who worked on our installation from start to finish were very thorough and hard working, even through the stormiest weather we could have anticipated. These workers took care and pride in their installation from beginning to end, and we are very happy with the quality and care of the entire job. Also, in an age when it is increasingly difficult to contact management, the availability of Val, the head of the company, was highly appreciated. Any question, a quick email or call to his cell, and the concerns were addressed immediately. We highly recommend VIS Exteriors, and are planning to use them at other properties we own….

GREAT EXPERIENCE!!! Working with Val and his crew was probably one of the best construction experiences we have done. Val took care of everything form insurance adjusters to permits and stuck to his estimate on the time frame. If Val and/or his crew were not going to be coming because of weather Val would text me to let me know the day before which was greatly appreciated. If I made a change while they were working they were very accommodating.

His crew completed my roof in 1 day and everything was cleaned up by the time it was dark. He and his crew also did all siding, gutters and soffits which turned out great! Again after each day his guys truly were as clean as it gets and it looked like they were not even there.

All the siding, wrapping, gutters, roof look better then I could have imagined. Don’t hesitate to call Val and Vis Exterior. I trusted the Google reviews and they were right on. Thank You!

Val and his crew were wonderful. Val is very courteous, reliable, efficient and a pleasure to work with. We had actually been waiting for 3 months for a previous contractor to come out and do our roof but they kept saying they were going to come and never showed up. When we called to ask why they were nasty!! We immediately cancelled with that company. A co-worker recommended VIS Exteriors because he was very pleased with the siding they had recently done on his home. We called and Val came out the next day. He was informative and assured us the work would be done within 3 weeks. Not only was it done but he and his crew came earlier than the 3 weeks and were finished tearing down and doing the roof in 1 day and the trim wrapping was completed in another day. They did everything he said they would do and more and when they left you would never have known they were there(other than our gorgeous new roof and trim), the clean up was spotless. This is a good company….we will recommend them to all our friends and family.

Val was Great to work with…..answered all my questions and returned emails fast. Communication was top notch. His CREW did FANTASTIC work. We had siding, fascia, soffits, gutters and downspouts done.
